CONDITION OF SALE

 

1    PLACING AN ORDER

1.1     GOODS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

1.1.1 Orders are to be placed by way of purchase orders, email or fax.

1.1.2  Orders are to be secured by way of payment within 48 hours from the date of ARTMAR Tile and Stone (“ARTMAR”) SALES ORDER.

1.1.3  SALES ORDER will be automatically cancelled without further notice if NO payment is received within 48 hours.

1.1.4  Should payment be made, kindly forward a copy of the remittance to info@artmar.com.au for our reference as soon as possible.

1.1.5  Stock level and prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Some products displayed on website may take 1-12 weeks lead time for delivery. Please call us before placing an order. 

1.2     GOODS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE / ON WATER

1.2.1  A 20% deposit is required to place an order to secure the goods which are currently not available.

1.2.2  Any deposits paid by the purchaser are non-refundable except with the agreement of ARTMAR in its absolute discretion.

1.2.3  ARTMAR will endeavour to meet arrival and availability dates, but will not be responsible for any delay due to causes beyond its control.

1.2.4  ARTMAR have the right to cancel any order which we are unable to fulfil for any reasons beyond our control.

1.2.5  ARTMAR reserves the right to refuse cancellation of any order, if the goods are already in production or on-water or are already at ARTMAR's warehouse.

 

2    GENERAL

2.1     30 days free storage is provided from date payment is received. Thereafter there will be a storage charge of $15 per crate per week on the uncollected goods.

2.2     Goods will only be released should all payments in arrears be settled prior to collection.

2.3     It is understood and accepted that Travertine, Marble, Limestone and Sandstone is a product of nature and that no two pieces will be identical by means of characteristics and appearance and 5% breakage, chips and hair cracks is allowed due to the nature of the stone.

2.4     Claims for incorrect supply, short supply or damaged products must be notified within 2 days of receipt of tiles or otherwise ARTMAR will not be responsible for any claims thereafter.

 

3    CANCELLATION POLICY

3.1     RETURNING OF GOODS COLLECTED

3.1.1  Cancellation are to be requested by way of writing.

3.1.2  ARTMAR reserves the right to approve or refuse the request.

3.1.3  No cancellation request will be entertained/considered after 14 days of delivery/collection.

3.1.4  Approved cancellation requests will bear 20% handling charge of the total invoice.

3.1.5  Returning of goods are to be organised and paid by the customer. The goods are to be returned in its original packing condition.

3.1.6  ARTMAR will inspect the returned goods and deduct any damaged/broken products accordingly and will refund the balance after deducting the cancellation fee if any.

3.1.7  No claims will be recognised after the tiles/pavers are removed from the crates or laid.

3.1.8  All tiles must be laid in accordance with recognised industry standards.

3.1.9  The Act of laying the materials means the material is accepted for décor, shade quality, type and size. It is the fixers' duty to lay the material under control of the client or the client's agent. No claims will be entertained once the material is laid.

 

3.2     GOODS PAID BUT REMAINED UNCOLLECTED AND SUBSEQUENTLY CANCELLED

3.2.1  10% cancellation fee of the total invoiced amount for handling and administrative charges + any storage fees in arrears should the duration exceeds the 30 days free storage will be applicable.
